TWL Environmental & Roadway Permitting, Butler County, PA
EdgeMarc Permitting Project, Butler County, PA
The project involved environmental and roadway permitting for a 21-mile temporary waterline project in northern Butler County, PA. Markosky’s environmental scientists conducted wetland and stream delineations along the entire pipeline corridor and prepared a PADEP General Permit application for more than 30 crossings. Markosky’s environmental engineers also prepared erosion and sediment control plans for all areas requiring earth disturbance. In addition, roadway crossing permits were prepared for a total of 5 PennDOT roads and 14 township roads.
Eastern Panhandle Expansion, Various Counties, MD, WV
Columbia Gas Eastern Panhandle Expansion, Various Counties, MD, WV
Markosky is conducting all non-environmental permitting on behalf of Columbia Gas Transmission, LLC for a 3.4-mile natural gas pipeline project proposed to extend south from Pennsylvania, through western Maryland and into the eastern panhandle of West Virginia. Our engineers are completing permit applications and approvals for the proposed 8” pipeline to cross under state and local roads in both Maryland and West Virginia, as well as under a CSX railroad line. Markosky is also preparing permit applications for all temporary and permanent access road connections.
Well Pad ESCGP-2 Permit Renewal, Butler and Lawrence Counties, PA
Rex Energy ESCGP-2 Permit Renewal, Butler and Lawrence Counties, PA
The project involved preparing and submitting ESCGP-2 applications for four existing well pads in Butler and Lawrence Counties, PA. These locations were previously approved under ESCGP-1 permits that were expiring, necessitating the conversion to ESCGP-2. Markosky initially conducted wetland/stream identification and delineation and infiltration testing. We then prepared engineering design for both the operational phase and production phase at each site, including E&S design and post-construction stormwater management (PCSM). Permit application packages for each site were then submitted to PADEP for approval.
