Mark A. Markosky, P.E . is Vice President of The Markosky Engineering Group, Inc. and serves as Project Principal on all Civil Engineering projects. As Vice President, Mr. Markosky is involved with the long range planning, corporate administration, and financial management of MEG. He directs our marketing efforts, and oversees information technology. In addition, He is still actively involved in project management, both in an oversight role, and directly on selected projects. Mark has over 25 years of civil engineering and project management experience on projects ranging from small site developments to interstate highway interchanges. He brings his project management experience to oversight of all civil engineering projects. He has experience with site design, erosion and sedimentation control, grading and drainage, stormwater management, highway line and grade development, interchange design, hydrologic and hydraulic studies, maintenance and protection of traffic, signing and pavement marking, corridor studies, public involvement, and design management. Mark earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering Technology from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown in 1985. After graduation, Mark worked in Phoenix, AZ and Seattle, WA before returning to Pennsylvania in 1993. In 1999, he joined his wife's engineering practice to found The Markosky Engineering Group, Inc. Mark is a Registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania and Washington, and is a member of the Southwest Pennsylvania Section of the American Society of Highway Engineers, serving on the Board of Directors. Mark and his wife are the parents of 4 teenagers. He is active in several community organizations, particularly those which serve youth in the community. |
