The President of the Markosky Engineering Group, Inc. (MEG) is Joyce V. Markosky, P.E. Joyce has over 24 years of experience in the engineering field and she is a registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania, Washington and Michigan. As President of MEG, she is responsible for overall office management and business planning. She oversees agreements on all projects, supervises human resources and accounting departments, and is responsible for financial management for the firm. She directs the quality assurance efforts for both office administration and design, throughout the company.

In addition to her administrative responsibilities, Joyce acts as Project Manager on all building systems design projects. As a mechanical engineer, her design expertise is HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems. Recent work has emphasized building projects in support of the transportation industry, such as highway toll facilities. She has varied experience with airport facilities, with projects including air traffic control towers, baggage processing buildings, major air traffic support facilities, maintenance facilities, deicing systems, and hangars. Her design experience also includes commercial facilities, office and retail, as well as schools, churches, nursing homes, hotels, water and sewer treatment buildings, and residential projects.

Joyce earned a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University in 1986, with an emphasis on mechanical building systems. She spent the first several years of her career in Arizona and Washington working for large AE firms, then returned to her home state of Pennsylvania . After several years working as an independent consultant from home, she formed The Markosky Engineering Group, Inc., with husband Mark. She is a professional member of NSPE and ASHE. She also presently serves as a Trustee of her church, and member of several local groups serving youth. She and her husband Mark most enjoy being the parents of teenagers.
