MEG is a multi-disciplined engineering firm with extensive experience on all types of transportation projects.  Our staff has a proven record with bridge safety inspections as well as bridge and highway design projects.  MEG’s team leaders possess the training to complete the required inspections, evaluations and recommendations.

The bridge inspection Team Leader is in charge of the overall inspection of the bridge as well as the preparation of the report and is responsible for the recommendations relating to posting and needed improvements.  The Project Manager is responsible for identifying and scheduling personnel, reviewing field reports, and generally administering the project.  The QA / QC Manager verifies the quality of the report by reviewing each report prior to submission to evaluate the condition of the bridge as it is presented along with the inspection team’s recommendations related to posting and needed improvements.

We believe Project Management begins with an effective QA/QC program that assures that an adequate, qualified and properly equipped staff is in place to perform the functions of a bridge inspection program.  All inspections shall be performed in a timely manner and in compliance with the NBIS and PennDOT standards.
