Markosky is certified by the Pennsylvania Unified Certification Program (PAUCP) as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise.

The PAUCP includes PennDOT, Allegheny County, The Port Authority of Allegheny County, City of Philadelphia and SEPTA as member organizations. We are also certified by the PA Department of General Services as a Woman Business Enterprise.

Where we started...

MEG was founded in 1999 by Joyce and Mark Markosky with a small office in Ligonier, PA. We hired a few employees and offered highway, bridge, and site engineering, and mechanical building systems engineering services.

Where we are now...

Markosky has grown to 24 full time office employees, and we have established a second office in Greensburg, PA. We have expanded our services to include municipal and airport design services, and have successfully completed many projects in those areas, as well as bridges, highways and site development. We now offer construction inspection and bridge inspection services, as well as design.

Our key staff members include 11 registered Professional Engineers, 2 Project Management Professionals, 7 Certified Bridge Safety Inspectors, and 2 Senior Designers (each with over 30 years experience). We are building our staff with 2 Engineers-in-Training and several CADD Designers who are continually developing project skills. We have a Construction Inspection Manager, along with several Construction Inspectors working in the field. Our stellar administrative staff supports the design staff, completing the team dedicated to project excellence.

MEG can provide a successful project, drawing on the wealth of expertise of its dedicated staff. And we treat every client as uniquely as every project. We take great pride in establishing a personal relationship with our clients and being responsive to the ever changing needs of the project.
